OUR PROGRAMS

We believe it is important for students, our community and our economy to have agriculture part of our Massachusetts classrooms.

MAC has developed a strong network of educators and partners in our efforts to enhance and  promote agricultural awareness and education in Massachusetts . Together with our partners, our programs and services seek to create a new generation that better understands and appreciates the importance of agriculture to our community, society and economy.

Since 1983, we have reached more than 13,000 teachers and farm educators through our educational initiatives.

Our programs give teachers and other educators the knowledge and resource they need to take agriculture into the classroom. Our key programs include:

MINI Grants

Since 1994, MAC has awarded over 300 mini-grants totaling more than $215,000 to educators across Massachusetts.

Workshops on the Farm
